Mikey's Awards
Saturday April 29, 2006 - Opening Day Ceremonies
for Easton, CT Little League. William Kupinse, First Selectman
of Easton, declared April 29th, 2006 "Mikey's Way Day."
Mikey threw out the first pitch. In addition, the State Legislators
of Connecticut named Mikey a "hometown hero."
Tuesday May 2, 2006 - The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern
New Jersey, in connection with several major corporate sponsors,
honored Mikey for his contributions through The Mikey's Way Foundation.
Monday May 16, 2006 - Mikey was presented with
The Superintendent of Schools Award for leadership and community
service.
